Performance Jump: Speed score improved from 19 → 95+

Website Redesigned for Premium Feel & Usability

Custom Visuals, Optimized Galleries, and Streamlined UX

ARM Interior is a premium interior design and decor brand specializing in wallpapers, flooring, and blinds. While their physical designs are luxurious, their old website was far from it — scoring just 19/100 on speed, bloated with media, and lacking user flow. I stepped in to reimagine the experience — from subtle animations and structured layouts to performance-focused development and modern eCommerce integration.
ARM Interior’s transformation was built on a complete performance-first design philosophy. From a brand-new UI with elegant type, muted luxury color tones, and product-centric layouts — to a tailor-made checkout system that feels like a natural extension of their premium offering — every detail was crafted to elevate their customer experience and online presence.Their final website now loads lightning-fast, navigates intuitively, and mirrors the sophistication they bring to physical spaces.
Using tools like Lighthouse and GTmetrix, I analyzed speed issues and inefficiencies. This helped identify which assets were bloated, what code was outdated, and where the performance bottlenecks were
I introduced a modern design with a layout that highlights textures, finishes, and interior aesthetics — ideal for an interiors brand. A new color scheme and layout made the site easier to navigate and visually engaging.
A fully customized, minimalist checkout replaced the generic one. It included product summaries, step indicators, and visual trust elements — reducing bounce rates and improving user confidence.
All code was refined for speed — image compression, lazy loading, script optimization, and CDN integration. The site now scores 95+ on performance tests and delivers a smooth experience across devices.
With over 3,000+ image files and a total site weight of 7 GB, optimizing this platform wasn’t just design — it was engineering. Through smart compression, lazy loading, optimized gallery structures, and CDN deployment, the site now loads smoothly while preserving image clarity. This balance of media richness and performance was one of the most technically rewarding aspects of this project.
